Midwest Fall Brawl features Sprint Cars

The Sixth Annual Midwest Fall Brawl is headed to I-80 Speedway on Saturday, September 30. The Sprint Car portion of the Fall Brawl will be co-sanctioned by both the ASCS National Series and the Nebraska 360 Series. The feature for the sprint cars pays $5,000 to win and $500 to start. The Searsboro Telephone Hard Charger Award of $1,000 and the $300 Podium Draw from Electrical Systems also returns.

For a number of years the Fall Brawl featured two nights of racing. In 2012, Springfield, Nebraska’s Jack Dover and Eunice, Louisiana’s Jason Johnson picked up wins. Then in 2013, I-80 Speedway posted a Double Down Back-to-Back Challenge of $20,000 if a driver could win both nights and Jack Dover did just that.

In 2014, the Back-to-Back Challenge was increased to $50,000 and Oklahoma City’s Wayne Johnson said why not and left I-80 with almost $60,000. Finally in 2015, two different drivers won with Sioux Falls, South Dakota’s Justin Henderson winning night one and Bennet, Nebraska’s Billy Alley night two. In 2016, the Midwest Fall Brawl became a one night show and Altoona, Iowa’s Terry McCarl picked up the win.

So the question in 2017 is who will join the past winner’s as a winner of the Midwest Fall Brawl!

Also racing at the Midwest Fall Brawl will be the Malvern Bank Super Late Models racing for $3,000 to win and $500 to start in their season finale. The Mod Lites will also be racing. Pits open at 3 pm, Grandstands at 4:30 pm with racing at 6 pm.
