World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Update<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a> GREENWOOD, Neb. \u2014 April 11, 2016 \u2014<\/b><\/span>\u00a0The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series returns to I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska for the NAPA Auto Parts Outlaw Showdown on Wednesday, June 22. The series is in the midst of wrapping up their West Coast Swing, before heading back to the Midwest.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/a> A total of seven drivers have won races thus far in 2016 with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series. Through the first 14 races of the season, Brad Sweet is the current series point leader. Driving for Kasey Kahne Racing, Sweet has won four races and leads the series with 12 top-five finishes. The California native also leads the series with three Fast Time awards in time trials.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/a> Shane Stewart, who drives for the Larson-Marks Racing team, which is co-owned by NASCAR driver Kyle Larson, is currently second in points. Stewart has one win this season and is tied for the series lead with 13 top-10 finishes in 14 starts.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/a> Daryn Pittman, the 2013 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series champion, is currently third in points, followed by seven-time and defending series champion Donny Schatz, who drives for Tony Stewart Racing. Joey Saldana, who won at I-80 Speedway in 2014, rounds out the top-five in points.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/a> Jason Johnson, who is having a very consistent start to the season, is currently sixth in the standings, with one win under his belt thus far in 2016. David Gravel, who also has a win, is seventh in points, followed by Logan Schuchart, Jason Sides and Paul McMahan.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ticket buyers will receive $5 OFF General Admission tickets when purchased at a participating NAPA Auto Parts store and will bring their receipt and exchange for a ticket at the ticket booth on race day.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
