Once again the race will be co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association. The modified portion of the event will again be sanctioned by the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS).<\/span><\/p>\n In 2015, the 80 lap Silver Dollar National’s finale saw its first repeat winner as \u201cDark Sunshine\u201d Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, Tennessee backed up his 2014 win with a trip to victory lane in 2015. On the USMTS side it’s been the Rodney Sanders show the last three years as the Happy, Texas chauffeur has won both USTMS features for three years running.<\/span><\/p>\n But in 2016, I-80 Speedway has added a bonus for Super Late Model fans as on Tuesday, May 24, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will be also be making an appearance at the wide 4\/10ths mile oval. That will give all the drivers plenty of laps to get their cars just right for the Silver Dollar Nationals.<\/span><\/p>\n As has always been the case at the Silver Dollar Nationals, Thursday, July 21 will be a complete program of racing featuring the Malvernbank.com SLMR Series, the Nebraska 360 Sprints and B Mods with an open practice for Lucas Oil and USMTS cars.
