Years ago they labeled this famed Sprint Car Series \u201cthe Thunder and Lightning Division\u201d and lets hope on Friday, June 2 at the I-80 Speedway for the I-80 Dirt Classic, the only thunder and lightning is the sound of USAC Sprint Cars.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Defending USAC Sprint Car champion Brady Bacon of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma has won at I-80 in a non-winged Sprint Car, taking the 2009 TNT Sprint Bandit feature win. Many of the younger USAC chauffeur&#8217;s have never raced at I-80. As for the AMSOIL USAC Sprints it will be their first-ever visit to the big wide oval of I-80 Speedway.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">This year&#8217;s AMSOIL USAC Sprint Car series has turned into a battle between Justin Grant and Chad Boespflug. The two are locked in a ferious points battle with just one point currently seperating the two California natives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It is a beautiful sight watching a field of non-winged sprint cars weave there way around a dirt oval with the driver&#8217;s arm and steering actions clearly visible to the fans. It should be a great night of non-wing sprint car racing on the big wide oval.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The Malvern Bank Series will also be racing at the I-80 Dirt Classic. This year the series boasts perhaps the strongest field of driver&#8217;s in the ten year history of the series. Also racing will be unsanctioned B Mods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">I-80 Speedway is located one block north of Interstate 80 Exit 420, halfway between Omaha and Lincoln.
