I-80 Dirt Classic coming to I-80 on June 2

The United States Auto Club (USAC) non-wing sprint cars will be making their first trip to I-80 Speedway on Friday, June 2 for the I-80 Dirt Classic. While it will be USAC’s first visit to I-80 some of the drivers have raced at I-80 before and won. Brady Bacon is a former winner of the Sprint Bandit non-wing races at I-80 as is Robert Ballou.

Ballou ran his first ever 410 non-wing race at I-80 in 2006 and won the event. After a nasty accident last September in California, he returned to action at Eldora on May 12/13 and won the May 13 USAC event there.

Malvern Bank Super Late Models and B Mods will also be on June 2. Adult Grandstand Admission is $23, Juniors (6-12) $5 with Five and under free. Grandstands open at 5:30 pm with Racing at 7:15pm. Pits open at 4 pm with Pit Passes $40.
