2018 NASCAR Season opens on Friday, April 27 at I-80

I-80 opens the NASCAR Whelen All American Series on Friday, April 27

I-80 Speedway opens it’s NASCAR Weekly Racing Series on Friday, April 27. Once again this year there will be seven NASCAR classes competing at I-80 Speedway in NASCAR Whelen All American racing. They are the Cubby’s Super Late Models, Custom Diesel Driver’s Training Modifieds, Ty’s Outdoor Power & Service SportMods, Kosiski Auto Parts Bragging Rights Late Models, Rotella’s Stock Cars, River City Heating & Cooling Compacts and Certified Transmission Hobby Stocks.

Defending class champions include; Tad Pospisil in Super Late Models, Travis Hatcher in Modifieds, Shawn Harker in SportMods, Jacob Brown in Bragging Rights Late Models, Nick Woodard in Stock Cars. Dan Markham in Compacts and Luke Ramsey in Hobby Stocks.

It will be National Health Night at I-80 Speedway which honors all area health workers. Pit Gates open at 4pm, Grandstands at 5:30pm with racing at 7:15pm. Grandstand Admission is $10 for Adults, $5 for Kids (6-12) and Kids (5 and under) free as always.

I-80 Speedway is located one block north of Interstate 80 Exit 420, halfway between Omaha and Lincoln. The Physical Address is 13909 – 238th Street, Greenwood, NE.
